I was born in Davenport, Iowa and have lived in Russellville, Kentucky for the last ten years. Until the age of fourteen I used to tell people I wanted to be an artist(when I grew up:-). I got tired of being told that "Artists don't make money until they are dead". It is hard to explain to people that art is not about the money. In hight school I worked on art quite a bit mostly due to an Art teacher that inspired me and pushed me to try harder. His name was John Holliday of Holliday Prints. After high school I kind of laid it down. I dabbled a little . Then five or six years ago I went through a divorce . I picked my art work back up seriously after that. I have worked hard on it since then. If I hadn't quit for all of those years I would have been good by now.

I really don't have a favorite media or picture. I think I am better at pencil. I figure it is because I have been doing it longer. I don't want to confine myself to painting just certain thing like so many artists do. I want to be versatile. It doesn't matter so much what I am doing as long as I am working on something.
I get the credit for the art work but I couldn't do it without Yvonne. She has the rotten job. She takes care of everything around the house and around the farm. If it wasn't for her and my parents things would stand still around here. She gets about zero help from me when I am busy. She tolerates my attitude and takes care of me. We have been married for a little over two years(I think:-). She keeps me straight and makes me behave myself. She makes my life complete(that should be worth some points). My hobbies include working out, mountain biking and my art. I could give up any of the other stuff except my Art. It makes me what I am.
We've got a couple cats(Annakin and Jordie) and a couple horses. The horses are Yvonne's babies.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to visit my site.
